Coach Justin Swallie is currently in his 20th year teaching Social Studies at Hilliard Weaver Middle School and is in his 20th season coaching high school baseball in Hilliard.

Coach Swallie is a graduate of Hilliard Darby High School where he played under Coach Chris Fugitt. He continued his academics and baseball playing career for 4 years at Otterbein College under Head Coach George Powell.

After graduating from Otterbein, he spent his first 4 years with the Freshman Team at Hilliard Davidson High School under Head Coach Jim Dougherty.  He made the move to be a Varsity Assistant at Hilliard Bradley High School for two years working under Head Coach Matt Gilkerson. He then moved back over to Hilliard Davidson High School as the Varsity assistant under Hall of Fame Coach Jim Dougherty and moved into the Head Coaching position upon the retirement of Coach Dougherty. 

He has been the Head Coach at Hilliard Davidson High School since 2014 and enters his 12th season in that position. He currently lives in Powell with his 16-year-old son Max.  

Coach Dave Swallie is a 7th grade social studies teacher at Weaver Middle School.  This is his 26th year of teaching and coaching in Hilliard.  He has spent the last 16 years as a varsity assistant at Hilliard Darby High School.  He also coaches 7th grade football at Weaver Middle School.  Coach Swallie is a graduate of The Ohio State University and Marygrove College.  He lives in Hilliard with his wife Julie and has two sons, Justin and Eric.  He also has a grandson Max.  Dave is excited to be part of the Davidson Wildcat Baseball program.   

Coach Brooks Hunton is currently in his 4th year as a varsity assistant at Hilliard Davidson.  Prior to Davidson, Hunton was an assistant coach at Dublin Coffman for 4 years under Tim Saunders.

Coach Hunton is a 2005 graduate of Dublin Coffman where he was an All-Ohio baseball player in his senior year.  Hunton continued his baseball career at Lincoln Trail JC and Austin Peay State University. He graduated with a degree in Health Sciences and is currently working as a Territory Executive in the medical sales industry.

Coach Hunton lives in Hilliard with his wife Shanna and their daughter Kyndall, who is a sophomore student/athlete at Davidson.

Brooks is excited to help the players at Davidson improve their baseball skills and become well respected Hilliard community members.

Coach Matt Martin is entering his 2nd season coaching baseball at Hilliard Davidson. Previously, he coached at his alma mater, St. Charles Prep, for 7 years. He also spent 2 years as the JV boys basketball coach at Davidson.

He is in his 5th year teaching at Weaver Middle School as an Intervention Specialist.

Coach Martin lives in Hilliard with his wife Ally, daughter Maren and dog Murphy.

Coach Colin Kaucher is entering his first season at Davidson. He will work with hitters & catchers and will assist in other team areas as needed. 

Coach Kaucher attended Ohio Dominican where he helped lead the Panthers to back-to-back 30-win seasons and their first NCAA Regional appearance. Kaucher graduated as one of the most decorated players in ODU's Division II era with a lifetime .378 average, .457 OBP and .552 slugging percentage. In 195 games, he had 271 hits, 19 homers, 184 RBI's, 49 doubles, nine triples and stole 20 bases while walking 90 times against just 96 strikeouts. 

His career included being named an all-conference performer three times and being named all region and an All-American in 2018 and 2019. He also picked up Academic All-American accolades. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in 2019 and proceeded to graduate with a Master's in Business Administration with a concentration in Sport Management in 2020. 

Kaucher is from Toledo, Ohio and currently resides in Hilliard, Ohio.

Coach Ryan Yoder is currently in his 6th season as Head JVA Coach at Hilliard Davidson.

Coach Yoder is a 2016 graduate of Hilliard Davidson High School where he was a baseball player, hitting .385 w/ .939 OPS his senior year.

After completing his undergrad degree in History at The Ohio State University, he graduated with a Masters of Education from The Ohio State University.

He is currently working as a Social Studies teacher at Hilliard Weaver Middle School.

Coach Yoder lives in Columbus and is excited for this season. He looks forward to coaching this group every day to be the best version of themselves and be productive varsity players next season.

Coach Jon Perez is currently in his 5th season as Head JVB Coach at Hilliard Davidson.

Coach Perez is a 2003 graduate of Lorain Admiral King where he was a two-time Varsity Captain, Lorain County All-Star and Honorable Mention in the LEL baseball player his senior year.  After completing his undergrad at the University of Toledo, he graduated with a Masters Degree in Teaching at Otterbein University and is currently working as an Intervention Specialist at Heritage Middle School.

Coach Perez lives in Columbus with his wife Christina and their two young sons.

Jon loves to share his passion of baseball and ensure the Davidson baseball players are prepared for their next four years of high school and beyond.

Coach Chad Glassbrenner is entering his 5th season with the Davidson Baseball Program.

Coach Glassbrenner is a father of three, middle school math teacher and current pitching & hitting instructor at Bat Flip Baseball.

Given the opportunity, Chad will talk baseball all day long.
